Our Future in Faith

An effort is under way to renew and enhance the Chapel of the Resurrection, which for half a century has stood as a central symbol of Lutheran character and mission at Valparaiso University.

The Chapel of the Resurrection Fundraising Initiative: Our Future in Faith is an undertaking designed to prepare the chapel for dynamic ministry in the years ahead. According to President Mark A. Heckler, the Chapel of the Resurrection stands "as the centerpiece of campus and the heart of worship, service, leadership, and reconciliation for the campus community."

For those interested in scheduling a wedding at the Chapel, please contact Sri about available openings in September, October and November 2013. A copy of the complete guidelines for chapel weddings is now available on line.

We regret that we are not able to book weddings more than one calendar year in advance. However, you may fill out an application and get on our waiting list. You may also download the application form.

For those interested in being baptized or having their children baptized at the Chapel, the policy and application form can now also be found here.
