Senior Service, Baccalaureate
The Chapel's annual Senior Service, a service of Holy Communion, is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, May 18. This is a special evening especially intended for seniors and their family members and friends, but all are welcome. University Pastor Charlene M. Rachuy Cox presides. The organists for the service are Quinn Huebner and Jacob Igney.  Claire Mueller will be the director of the Senior Choir.  All seniors are welcome to join the choir.  Contact for details.


For Commencement Sunday, May 19, baccalaureate services will be held at the Chapel at 10 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 9 a.m. and guests with mobility issues will be seated first. University Pastor James A. Wetzstein presides.

The Conferral of Degrees will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Athletics-Recreation Center and tickets are required. The May Commencement Speaker is John Nunes, President and CEO of Lutheran World Relief. Go to for more information.
