Personal Visits

We invite high school and transfer students to schedule a personal visit to explore Valparaiso University’s programs, activities, and campus life.

We want your visit to be a memorable experience that will help you decide that Valpo is right for you.

Personal visits are available during the academic year most Mondays through Fridays and begin at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., or 1 p.m. Central Time. (We are in the same time zone as Chicago.) If weather does not permit a walking campus tour, our tour guides will provide you with a virtual tour.

Summer campus tours are available at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Central Time. Please call to schedule an  appointment so we make sure to have a tourguide available for you. (219-464-5011)

Your personalized visit might include:

  • A campus tour
  • A meeting with an admission counselor

Appointments with faculty (during the school year) are limited to high school seniors and transfer students.

You may purchase lunch (cash only) in the Cafe or Founders Table in the Harre Union.

If you wish to meet with one of our NCAA-Division I coaches, please contact the coach directly to schedule an appointment.
