Become a part of this historical time in Valparaiso University's history. Volunteers are needed to help plan, organize, and host the regional anniversary celebrations. Interested alumni and friends of VU should send an e-mail to alumni@valpo.edu.

The VU Alumni Association invites alumni and friends of VU to nominate individuals for inclusion in a list of Top 150 Valpo People. CLICK HERE for the online ballot. Top 150th Valpo People Criteria:
- The nominee may be an alumnus of Valparaiso University. This includes those who hold a degree from VU, were granted an honorary degree from VU, or completed at least at least one semester at VU. The nominee may also be a current or former member of the VU Board of Directors, a current or former member of the faculty or staff, or a significant donor or friend of the university.
- All nominees should exemplify the university’s mission of scholarship, freedom, and faith while demonstrating outstanding achievement throughout their professional career.
- All nominees should be held in high regard by VU and worthy of the honor of being recognized as one of the 150 Most Influential Valpo People in their particular field.
- All nominees should be individuals who enhance the prestige of the university by virtue of their character, integrity, and outstanding personal or professional accomplishments in the respective field.
- Nominations for this award may come from the alumni, faculty, administration, friends and supporters of Valparaiso University.
