Charles Bischoff '68 earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Valparaiso University and a master’s degree in nuclear engineering at the University of New Mexico. He also has earned his J.D. degree from the University of Arizona. Bischoff served as editor in chief of the Arizona Law Review and has been listed in both Best Lawyers in America and Southwest Super Lawyers publications. He is a founding member of the Scottsdale-based law firm of Jorden Bischoff & Hiser, P.L.C. Bischoff has written numerous papers and presented material at seminars on environmental law and has served as contributing author for the Arizona Environmental Law Manual. He has demonstrated an enduring commitment to Valparaiso University by serving as regional coordinator for the “Three Goals, One Promise” campaign and by serving on the Campaign Leadership Team for the "Our Valpo, Our Time" initiative. Bischoff has substantially contributed to the success of the university's capital and endowment initiatives for nearly a decade. He also is a member of the Valpo Admission Network and the VU Alumni Association, the latter of which he served as president in 2004-2005. He and his wife, Beverly, also have hosted a series of university-related events at their home in Phoenix.
