Alumni Service Award

recognizes alumni who have rendered outstanding service to the University.

Paul Jud ’86 earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Valparaiso University. Since his graduation, he has been employed with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing Company for 26 years and has worked in two locations, Long Beach, Calif., and St. Louis. Paul has been a very active member of the Valparaiso University Alumni Association’s Board of Directors and has held positions as both the treasurer and secretary. Paul has also been a member of the Valparaiso Admission Network since its implementation. He is also a member of the Guild, serving on their Nomination Committee, and the Thrivent Chapter Board of Directors, serving as their Director of Communications. Paul served on the planning committee for Valparaiso University’s first two Homecoming West celebrations and is currently a member of the Valpo Club of St. Louis. Paul has many family members who are also Valpo grads, his father, Henry Jud ’56, mother, Shirley (Ayers ’57) Jud, aunt Lois (Jud ’55) Stein, brother, Kevin Jud ’88, and his sister, Carol Jud ’90. Paul lives in Dardenne Prairie, Mo.
