Lois Niemier currently serves as special needs consultant for the Fort Wayne/South Bend Diocese. She is responsible for coordinating special needs programming for the diocese. She also is the director of Learning Solutions, an educational clinic offering tutoring for ages 4-adult and enrichment for students ages 6-13. Formerly, she was supervisor of student teachers for Grace College, reading strategies instructor for Ivy Tech, and adjunct faculty member at Indiana University South Bend. Niemier was involved in the creation of the Comprehensive Educational Clinic and Tutoring Center in Warsaw. She received her B.S. degree in elementary education from Valparaiso University, and her master’s degree in special education with a specialization in learning disabilities and behavior disorders from Indiana University.
