After graduating from Valparaiso University in 1970, Ronald Koepke attended St. Louis University Medical School, completed his internship and residency at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans, and his Cardiology Fellowship at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals. A cardiologist in West Monroe, LA, Dr. Koepke has served as Chief of Staff for St. Francis Regional Medical Center from 1990-1991, and again at Glenwood Regional Medical Center from 2005-2007. In addition to various other leadership roles, Dr. Koepke, since 2000, is the President of the Board of Directors for Vintage Health Plan. In 2010 the Koepke family was named as “An Outstanding Family” in NE Louisiana. With wife Marilyn (Schleicher ’70) they are proud parents of three children; Katherine, Laura and Paul. An avid soccer enthusiast, Dr. Koepke serves as President of the Northeast Louisiana Soccer Association.
