Revolutionary War Experience and Potluck Picnic at Cantigny Park

Catigny Park 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton, IL The Park Pavilion at Cantigny is located on the East side of the park property near Shaffner and Roosevelt Road.Join other Valpo alumni from the Chicago area for a family-friendly outing to Cantigny Park, where we will experience the annual Revolutionary War Reenactment Days. Valpo history professor and colonial period expert, Dr. Alan Bloom, will share insights for all who participate. You and your family will have an opportunity to watch the battles, tour the soldier camps, along with the chance visit the Cantigny museums, gardens and greenhouses. This is a potluck lunch event in a private outdoor pavilion, so bring a dish to share, as well as any additional items you would like for lunch on your own. The cost is $10 per person to help cover a portion of the pavilion rental, as well as provide nonalcoholic beverages for all participants. A $5 parking fee paid upon park entry.
