About the event:

Valparaiso University will host the 2012 Provost Tour on Saturday, Nov. 3, featuring Provost Mark Schwehn. Schwehn, a 1967 Valpo graduate and past dean of Christ College, will share news about the Valpo campus and its future as well as introduce some terrific students, who will tell their Valpo stories.

Many topics will be presented, including the University’s Strategic Plan and the influence of scholarships and service on the Valpo experience. Also, attendees will receive brochures on the Campus Master Plan and Strategic Plan as well as the Valpo Shield pin.

Although the campus continues to evolve physically and the student body has become more diverse, the University’s Lutheran ethos and emphasis on quality remains unwavering. The students who will share their personal stories from their experiences at Valpo truly exemplify the University’s intellectually rigorous and innovative education. These students include Anna Wiersma, Billy Pochron, Chelsea Kiehl, and Claire Mueller.
