Congratulations to the Valparaiso University men’s basketball team on its berth into the NCAA Tournament. The No. 14-seed Crusaders will take on No. 3 Michigan State at 12:15 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 21, at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The Valparaiso University Alumni Association invites you to join Valpo alumni, students, and friends for a pre-game brunch buffet and pep rally.

Pre-registration is required. Tickets for the buffet are $30, or $25 for current Valpo students, children 12 and under, and young alumni (graduated in 2003 or later). A cash bar will be available for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. A map of The Palace with information on how to find the Pistons VIP Club can be found here. The Pistons VIP Club is located in the North Pavilion.   

Having trouble finding a ride to the game? Don’t worry! Alumni and students also have the option of riding a chartered bus from campus to the pep-rally and game. The bus will leave the Athletics-Recreation Center at 6:30 a.m. EDT/5:30 a.m. CDT and return at 9 p.m. CDT. Tickets for the bus are $35 per person. Pre-registration is required. 

Space for the pep rally and bus is limited so register soon by calling the Office of Alumni Relations at 219-464-5142 or 1-800-833-6792, ext. 23. Your wrist band, which grants you admission into the pep rally, will be available at The Palace VIP Club.

Valpo's block of game tickets is sold out, but a limited number of tickets are still available through Ticketmaster by calling 248-377-0100.
