The Valpo plates are made and shipped in sequential order, so you are unable to request a specific number on your plate. Each branch receives the quantity of plates that it sold last year. For example, Branch 1 receives the necessary quantity starting with plate number 101. Branches follow in order. So your number is dictated by where you purchase your plates. However, you may request a vanity version of a Valpo plate through the BMV at an additional cost of $45.
Your Valpo plate is regarded just like any other Indiana plate, as long as you continue to get a certified form. We will send you a renewal form. To keep your plate, just complete the form, submit your donation to Valparaiso University (at least $25), and mail to Valpo License Plate Program at:
Office of Alumni Relations
Valparaiso University
1100 Campus Drive South
Valparaiso, IN 46383
We will send you a certified form to turn in with your registration. You will receive a sticker to place on your plate.
