The applied statistics minor is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide students in many different majors with the fundamental skills necessary to do statistical analysis. A minimum of 15 credit hours is required to complete this minor. Students who intend to complete this minor are strongly encouraged to consult their academic adviser before they begin their junior year. Depending on their major, students are advised to include specific courses as electives in their plans of study. Students should consult their academic advisers to determine which requirements these other courses fulfill. There may not be more than a total of a two course overlap with other requirements whether within general education or within a major or a minor. Students in the minor must complete the requirements for a degree program and the following courses:
