Section and Conference Award Nominations
Section Awards:
We are currently seeking nominations for three awards for the ASEE IL/IN section, all of which will be presented at the 2009 annual section conference.
The Section Outstanding Teaching Award is given to one professor who teaches engineering or engineering technology at an institution in Illinois or Indiana. The winner will be selected based on excellence as a teacher, both inside the classroom and in working with students outside the classroom. S/he will exhibit an ability to instill enthusiasm and passion in his/her students.
The Section Outstanding Service Award is given to one section member who has exhibited outstanding service, either to the ASEE or to the engineering education profession as a whole.
The Section Outstanding Campus Representative Award is given to one campus representative who has done the most to promote ASEE activities and membership on his/her campus. To be eligible, the nominated campus representative must have submitted the annual report for his/her campus during the preceding year.

Conference Awards:
Conference awards will be given at the 2009 IL/IN Section Conference to recognize outstanding faculty papers and outstanding student papers and posters. There will be awards in the following categories:
Best Paper
Best Undergraduate Student Poster
