Valpo Fall Classic Highlights Men's Tennis' Fall Schedule

Valparaiso University will host its first Valpo Fall Classic on October 6-7 to highlight the men's tennis team's 2006 fall schedule head coach Jim Daugherty has announced.

The event, which will consist of three singles and three doubles flights, will be played on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. IPFW, IUPUI, UW-Green Bay, Wright State, and Youngstown State will all join the Crusaders in the event held at the Valparaiso University Tennis Complex.

The fall slate will open September 15-17 in Muncie, Ind. at the Ball State Fall Invitational. The Crusaders will also compete at the Bradley Invitational in Peoria, Ill. the following weekend before hosting their annual Alumni Tournament in conjunction with Homecoming weekend on September 30.

Select Valpo players will then close out the fall season at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich. in late October.
