Bartholomew Concludes Season at NCAA Regional

Steve Bartholomew (Valparaiso, Ind./Morgan Township) concluded his 2007 outdoor campaign Friday at the NCAA Mideast Regional, finishing 21st out of 35 of the region's elite competitors in the hammer throw.

The junior recorded a toss of 166'9" on his first of three attempts, and followed with a mark of 184'3" on his second throw before fouling on his final toss. Bartholomew was seeded 24th in the region entering the event by virtue of his school-record mark of 191'2" on April 21.
