
Crusaders Among Nation’s Top-Ten Academically
The Valparaiso University softball team posted the sixth-highest team grade point average in the nation among Division I schools last year, as released by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Head coach Randy Schneider’s team recorded a cumulative team GPA of 3.461 for the 2006-2007 academic year. St. Bonaventure led all Division I schools with a 3.622 cumulative GPA. The Crusaders were one of three Horizon League schools among the top-ten, as Detroit came in eighth and Loyola finished ninth. Rank
