Took course six times as a sophomore for the Brown and Gold ... finished among Valpo’s top-four runners in all six races ... finished 16th at Crusader Invitational, running the 6K course in 20:16 ... surpassed his 8K career best at the Notre Dame Invitational, crossing the line in 26:41 ... smashed that time two weeks later at the Evansville Invitational, placing eighth with a time of 25:57.51 over the 8K course ... third-fastest Crusader at both the Mid-Con Championship and the NCAA Great Lakes Regional ... earned Mid-Con All-Academic Team honors ... also named to the Mid-Con Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.

Men's Track & Field - 2007

Ran at eight meets for the Crusaders ... covered the mile run at the Boilermaker Invitational indoors in a season-best 4:58.89 ... placed fifth in the 1,500m run outdoors at the Puma Invitational ... ran a season-best 4:27.70 in the 1,500m run at the Butler Twilight ... named to the Mid-Con All-Academic Team ... member of Fall 2007 Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

Men's Track & Field - 2006

Tallied Crusader top times indoors in the mile run (4:26.88) and the 3,000m run (8:51.99) ... also recorded times of 2:04.99 in the 800m run and 16:44.99 in the 5,000m run ... outdoors, was among Valpo’s top-three runners in the 1,500m run (4:13.01) and 5,000m run (16:18.4) ... named to Mid-Con All-Academic team.

Men's Cross Country - 2005

Competed six times as a freshman ... named team’s Most Valuable Runner ... placed on Mid-Continent Conference All-Academic Team ... was Valpo’s top finisher in three of six races ... ran best 8K of season in first career race, crossing in 27:00 at Crusader Invitational, the second fastest 8K time of season by any Valpo runner ... again paced Brown and Gold at Stanford Invitational, finishing 25th ... led all Crusader runners at NCAA Great Lakes Regional, covering 10K course in 35:33.8.

A four-year letterwinner for the Bulldogs ... high school coach was his father, Leo ... named Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference’s Most Valuable Runner as a senior ... placed on All-Conference team four times ... qualified for Semi-State meet three times, from 2002-04 ... named to All-Regional team in 2004 ... was on First Team Academic All-State team as senior ... named team’s Most Valuable Runner as a senior ... won Bulldog Award three times ... also was conference’s Most Valuable Runner in track ... was a State Qualifier in 1,600m for track team.
