Package handling provided for Student Organizations with the following proper address format:

Package(s) will be logged into our package tracking program and securely stored in our department until the President or Advisor provides a valid Valpo OneCard for pick up.

All campus mail to students needs to have a return address so that mail can be returned to the proper department if student(s) no longer live in residence halls.

Student Mail Services has the right to request proof of permission from a faculty advisor or Student Affairs to distribute any material into residential student mail units.

Bulk Campus Mail Distribution for specific students:

Departments or organizations sending bulk campus mail to a specific group of students must complete the Report Request (Queries) from the Registrar’s website and allow 4 business days for processing.

Bulk Campus Mail Distribution for ALL residential students:

Departments or organizations sending bulk campus mail to ALL students, must leave a contact name and extension with Student Mail Services and allow two business days for distribution. Student Mail Services reserves the right to request that all stuffers be no larger than 4″ X 6″.

Bulk Campus Mail Distribution for departments outside of the Union:

Departments or organizations sending bulk campus mail to a department outside of the Union will be sent through the campus mail system.

Packages will be delivered directly to department stated on address label.

  • Step #1: Turn left at least four times stopping at the first number.
  • Step #2: Turn right passing the first number one time and stopping at the second number.
  • Step #3: Turn left stopping at the third number the first time. You will hear a click just before the number.
  • Step #4: Turn right and pull open.

 

Student Mail Services follows United States Post Office procedures for all mail and package delivery to residential students. Campus Mail and Bulk Campus Mail is also distributed to residential student mail units.
