VU BIOLOGY CLUB, 2006-2007

    Watch this space! Activities for Spring Semester, 2007 will appear here!

    Stream monitoring and restoration time is finally here after a long winter!

    Note the date: Saturday, April 21st, at 9AM -- Stream restoration on Salt Creek. Meet at the steps in front of Neils Science Center shortly before 9:00 AM that Saturday morning.

    Monday, April 16th kicks off Earth Awareness Week. Earthtones will show several movies throughout the week and there will be an event on Wednesday April 18th at 5pm in the union where students will be meeting to clean up trash around the campus.

    Friday, May 4th is tentatively scheduled as the day when the Biology club will be hosting the All Neils Science Center picnic, beginning around 4:00 PM, held at Kirchoff Park. Members of the club are expected to pitch in and have fun!

    The Eboard will be meeting weekly on Wednesdays during Chapel Break. 
    General meetings for all of the members will be monthly, and members will be informed  via email of the exact dates and times of the meetings.

    Leadership Opportunities
    Leadership elections for the school year 2007-2008 will be held at the end of spring semster. Meanwhile, feel free to suggest and take initiative on any ideas for activities that you may have.
