- Official Signature Suite and Criteria
The following signature collections are the approved Primary Signatures for the University.
Formal Signature
The Formal Signatures are approved for use in applications where a formal theme is warranted, such as correspondence from the President and ceremonial materials.
Prestige Signature
The Prestige Signatures are reserved for use by the provost, deans and academic colleges, MBA, and Law School. Applications for accepted use include materials for university-wide events such as commencement, convocation, and building dedications. Use of this signature suite grouping is limited. For guidance on use of the Prestige Signatures, interested parties are advised to contact the Brand Manager at brand.manager@valpo.edu.
Primary Signature
The Primary Signatures are acceptable for use in any approved communication product.
Student And Alumni Shields
The Student Shield is approved for use in student-sponsored communications and the Alumni Shield is approved for use in alumnisponsored communications. Official departments must still use the Primary Signature suite.
