Driving Directions

The Career Center is located on the northeast corner of campus in Alumni Hall.  Our street address is 1602 LaPorte Avenue and our parking lot is situated directly across the street from The Cut Above hair salon.

Due to numerous construction projects in the area, directions to both the Career Center and Valparaiso University frequently change.  Please consult the following links for a Google map and a variety of campus maps:

Alternate Forms of Transportation
Chicago's O'Hare International Airport is approximately 75 miles from Valparaiso.  Chicago's Midway Airport is approximately 50 miles from Valparaiso, and the South Bend Regional Airport is about 45 miles from Valparaiso. Transportation from O'Hare and Midway to neighboring Merrillville is available via Tri-State Coach Lines (http://www.coachusa.com/tristateunitedlimo/)
The South Shore Line (http://www.nictd.com/index.htm)services Northwest Indiana from Chicago to the South Bend Regional Airport. The train station closest to Valparaiso is Dune Station in Chesterton, Indiana, approximately 11 miles north.  Call 800-356-2079 for more information.
