The Career Center offers a "substitute teaching" service for faculty, to incorporate career development into existing curricula.  Rather than cancelling class, you can have one of our professional staff members teach on one of the topics listed below:

• MBTI or Strong Interest Inventory Group Interpretation 
• Overview of Career Center Services
• Resume Workshop
• Interviewing Workshop
• Choosing a Major
• Job & Internship Search Strategies
• Cover Letter Workshop
• Graduate School Preparation and Applications

Other topics can be presented on an individually-determined basis.  Please make all requests at least two weeks prior to the scheduled class meeting.  Substitute Teaching requests should be sent directly to Matt Wells, Career Development Advisor, at matt.wells@valpo.edu.
