| Company: | The City of Des Plaines Engineering Department is seeking Civil Engineering students for full-time summer internships. |

| Description: | Duties include both office and field work assignments. Intern will assist Engineering Department staff in the inspections of utility placements, review and analysis of traffic signage and regulatory requests, construction, layouts, GIS data acquisition and other duties as assigned. |

| Qualifications: | Applicant should currently be enrolled in a college credited Civil Engineering curriculum and have earned a minimum of 30 credit hours or equivalent. Must have strong oral and written communications skills. The summer internship requires 37.5 hours per week. Applicant must be 18 years old or over and possess a valid Illinois driver's license. Applicant must pass required pre-employment screenings. |
