Description:Day Camp programs focus on learning about animals and their habitats at SeaWorld. Children pre-kindergarten through 8th grade will visit behind the scenes areas and enjoy our shows and attractions within the park. Interns and campers are involved in creative crafts, games, and activities that reinforce fun animal facts and environmental stewardship. Resident Camp programs are multi-day sleep-away camps that spend time at SeaWorld and possibly off-site locations such as Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay. Middle and high school students are immersed in the study of marine science through activities that explore the challenges and rewards of working with animals.
Qualifications:Applicants should be undergraduate students who have completed their sophomore year and are in good academic standing with their institution.
Comments:Relevant education/experience would include, but is not limited to, Education, Wildlife and Fisheries Science, (Marine) Biology, Recreation and Leisure Studies, and work in classrooms, zoos, parks, clinics, and museums.
