Emeritus Assistant Professor, AnesthesiologyGeorgine Steude earned her B.A degree from Valparaiso University in 1953. In 1957, she received her M.D. degree from Northwestern University Medical School. Prior to her post as an instructor in anesthesiology at the University of Michigan Medical School, she served academic appointments in leadership positions in various sections at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Steude has written numerous articles for scientific journals, is the author of published educational materials, and has served as a lecturer. She is a member of the Valparaiso University Guild, serves on the Faith Lutheran Church Council and is a member of the Committee of Hospice Medical Directors of the Michigan State Medical Society.
