Streder & Associates

Alvin Streder is the retired president of Streder & Associates. He has been active in church and civic activities, and is the former vice president of the National Association

of Down Syndrome. He is the former president of the Chicago Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc., as well as a former board member and educational director of the Refrigeration Engineers Association. Streder served in the Army and was discharged in 1956. He earned his B.A. degree from Valparaiso University in 1958 with a major in sociology, and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 1973.
