On September 30, 10:00am–4:00pm, the NRF Foundation is hosting the Shop.org Annual Summit Student
Program, which will bring hundreds of the brightest students face-to-face with retail veterans sharing
valuable career advice, retail rookies discussing how to get your career in retail started and stand out
from Day One, and retail recruiters from top companies hiring for internships and entry-level positions.
The program will include:
· A panel of retail executives from HSN, Walgreens, Uncommon Goods, Ann Taylor and Sheplers to
share leadership lessons and career advice
· A panel of mid-level professionals from Abercrombie & Fitch, Anthropologie, Estee Lauder and
Walgreens with “cool retail jobs” to discuss creative career paths in the industry
· Networking opportunities with retail recruiters from top companies, such as Macy’s, Walgreens,
Nordstrom, DICK’s Sporting Goods, and HSN hiring for internships and entry-level employment
This event will take place in Chicago at the Lakeside Center at McCormick Place and round-trip
transportation from campus via charter bus will be provided compliments of the NRF Foundation. Lunch
is also provided.
