BiographyCEYHUN OZGUR, CPIM is a professor of information and decision sciences in the College of Business Administration at Valparaiso University. He earned a BS in Industrial Management and a MS in Management from the University of Akron and a PhD in business administration (Operations Management/Operations Research) from Kent State University. He published a textbook by McGraw-Hill Irwin entitled Introduction to Management Science with Spreadsheets1st edition with William J. Stevenson (800 pages). Among others, Dr. Ozgur has published inJournal of Modern Applied Statistical Methods, Journal of Data Science, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, Interfaces, OMEGA, Quality Management Journal, Mid-American Journal of Business, Production Planning and Control, International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management, International Journal of Business Disciplines, Bogazici Journal, Industrial Mathematics, Decision Line and Teaching Statistics. He has written study guides, testbanks and instructor’s manuals for business statistics, operations management and management science textbooks. He is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute, and APICS. He is very active in Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) and Midwest Decision Sciences Institute (MWDSI). He has served as the president of Alpha Iota Delta (national honor society of Decision Sciences and Information Systems).He has been attending the national DSI meeting and presenting papers for over 20 years. He has served on numerous committees and was the chair of two national committees at DSI, including publications committee. He has served MWDSI in numerous positions including Treasurer, Vice President of Programs and Planning ,President-elect and President. Dr. Ozgur currently serves as a associate editor for Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education andmember of the editorial review board and guest editor of International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management.
