Values-based leadership

Why an emphasis on values-based leadership in the Valpo MBA program? Values-based leadership has always been a critical attribute of successful business women and men.  But recent high-profile corporate scandals have left the public skeptical about the trustworthiness of business leaders.

At Valpo, we believe ethical leadership is required to earn back public trust.  And when combined with current radical market restructuring and the rapid rise – and decline – of new firms and entire industries, it is clear that  leaders with solid ethical frameworks will be in demand.

As a leader, your personal moral compass will increasingly be the primary measure by which values-based decisions that affect your company and community are made.  Our challenging coursework and thought-provoking classroom discussions enable you to build these highly sought after values-based leadership skills.
