Business Law Course Descriptions

Below are descriptions of Business Law courses offered within the College of Business:

BLAW 104 - Legal Environment of Business - Cr. 3 - A study of the legal and regulatory climate that has a major impact on the operation of business entities. Attention is directed not only to legal but also to ethical issues confronting the manager in today's global economy Prerequisites completion of 12 credit hours.

BLAW 404 - Business Law - Cr. 3 - A study of various areas of the law that affect the commercial community. The scope of this course includes the law of contacts, sales, agency, business associations, and issues related to corporate social responsibility. Offered in the fall or spring terms. Prerequisites: Junior standing and BLAW 104.
