The Church Vocations Symposium (THEO-399-EV) meets on most Tuesday nights during the fall and spring semesters of the academic year.  The Lutheran Deaconess Association has graciously allowed Church Vocations to meet in their facilities located at 1304 LaPorte Avenue, just 1 block east of Lebein hall, from 6 - 7:30 p.m., for supper, fellowship, presentations, and discussion.

The VU CCV Mentoring Program puts students at the corner of faith and life.  Students in any major may apply for this opportunity to walk with a mentor in contemplating Christ's call to life and work in Him.

The Rev. Dr. Wesley Avram, Senior Pastor at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in North Scottsdale, Ariz., will be the first of four preachers in this year’s Walter Wangerin Jr. Celebration of Excellence in Preaching Series at the Chapel. The service of Holy Communion begins at 10 a.m. Sept. 28 with Rev. Charlene M. Rachuy Cox, university pastor, presiding. The series, in its third year, is intended to bring notable clergy to Valpo's Chapel.
