Part-Time Director of Youth Ministry
Edgebrook Lutheran Church - NW side of Chicago, IL

Is looking for a Lutheran individual, mature in their faith, part-time Director of Youth Ministry to serve 15-20 hours per week; schedule would include evenings, weekends and special events.  Responsible for development, direction, establishing and evaluation of a youth program for ELC in grades 4 through 12, and with other Christian youth of the community.  (Program intends to help youth actively engage in their Christian faith, exploring connections between faith and everyday life.)  Strength in interpersonal and communication skills, and a proficiency with web-based social networking sites for youth are a plus.  Hourly wage based on demonstrated skills and experience.  Requires college degree in relevant field and experience working in youth ministry.
