Thursday, April 7, 2011 marks the first anniversary of the death of University Pastor Darlene Grega. A committee, comprised of students, faculty and staff, has made plans for a special service that day during Morning Prayer (11:15 a.m.), to be followed at 11:35 a.m. by a second event, the presentation of a memorial portrait on the chapel patio, near the tree that was dedicated last year to her memory by international students. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served at the event on the chapel patio.

Remember any stories of Pastor Grega? Do you want to share them with others? These can be stories of her ministry, fun times together or silly experiences. Some may be read aloud and others shared through print. Please submit one or two stories to chris.boshoven-@valpo.edu or drop off your submissions to her at the chapel office by Tuesday, April 5.
