Adopt a family 2013

Before you wrap up your semester, the Social Action Leadership Team (SALT) is hoping that you might consider wrapping a few gifts for families in need.

You may be familiar with the Adopt a Family project, a partnership between campus organizations and the Hilltop Food Pantry to provide Christmas gifts to local families who cannot otherwise afford them. SALT hopes that this year, your organization (or family) might choose to join with SALT to help alleviate the sting of poverty during the holiday season by agreeing to "Adopt a Family."

This involves agreeing to purchase some Christmas gifts for a family that you "adopt." You are given all of the information that you need, so all you have to do is purchase the gifts and deliver them to your adopted family.

Please carefully consider if this is a commitment that your organization would like to make this holiday season, then contact Kayla Logan, SALT Service Coordinator.
