Terry W. Dietz, age 62, adjunct instructor in history and Valpo CORE, will be among those remembered during a special Morning Prayer service for All Saints' Day, Thursday, November 1, at the Chapel.
Services for Professor Dietz, who served as an adjunct instructor at the University since 1991, were held on campus in early June. Because the service took place after the end of the school year, many who knew him were unable to attend, and CORE Director John Ruff, Chapel and Theology Department staff representatives have developed the All Saints' Day service to give students, faculty and staff a time to collectively remember Prof. Dietz. President Mark Heckler and Dr. Ruff will speak and Dr. Fred Niedner will lead the service.
The service will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the Chapel. All are welcome.
The Chapel will also mark All Saints' Sunday on November 4th at 10 a.m.
November also kicks off a series of speakers from the College of Engineering, at Monday Morning Prayer, beginning Nov. 5th with Mark Budnik, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. See the Morning Prayer page for details.
