Mark your calendar and plan to join us at the Chapel on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at 5 p.m. when University Pastor Darlene Grega and the Kantorei of the Chapel of the Resurrection lead Transfiguration Vespers.

The choir, under the direction of Dr. Lorraine Brugh, will lead a service of choral Evening Prayer, singing music from all over the globe, including Cameroon, Argentina, and the Philippines.  Showing the ways people praise God around the world is one of the ways the Kantorei links people and music together.  The choir will also sing traditional music of the western church, from Heinrich Schutz to Johannes Brahms to Aaron Copland.  Student assistant conductor is Andrew Robinson.  Dr. John Bernthal is the organist.  

An offering will be accepted for Valpo Has a Heart for Haiti.
