- Resources for the Grieving
In the wake of Pastor Darlene's death, the Chapel has been gifted with some resources for the grieving:
You can pick up your free copy of a very beautiful and helpful book, A Time to Mourn, a Time to Dance. Copies have been donated by the Greater Valparaiso Group of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Look for stacks of them in the Chapel and feel free to take one.
The Chapel has a limited number of CDs “Chaos of the Heart: For those grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide,” with the writings of Walt Wangerin interspersed with music. To borrow a copy, please stop by Pastor James Wetzstein’s office.
Remember that the Chapel also has an expanded staff of peer and pastoral counselors who are available to you, in addition to the resources of VU's Counseling Department.
