- Flag lowering ceremony planned for 9/11
This Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, is the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and campus events will include a flag-lowering ceremony at 4:45 p.m. at the ARC flagpole, sponsored by the Valparaiso Air Force ROTC. You’re invited to stop and pay your respects. The service is expected to last about 20 minutes.
The flag to be lowered was flown during the summer of 2010 over Afghanistan by an alum of the Valparaiso Air Force ROTC program.
