The CROP Walk is an annual 5K walk put on by local churches and SALT to raise funds for efforts by the Church World Service to contribute toward hunger-fighting development efforts in 80 countries. Of the money raised, 25 percent stays in our own community for Valpo food pantries.

This year’s CROP Walk is part of the Chapel’s 50th anniversary celebration on Sunday, Sept. 27th. It will begin at 1 p.m. with registration at 12:30 p.m. outside the Chapel. If you raise $25 you earn a t-shirt. To learn more about the CROP walk, please contact Krista. Schaefer@valpo.edu
