GLOBAL WORSHIP SERVICE DEBUTS JANUARY 12
Now you have a new reason to be in Chapel on Mondays.

January 12, 2009 will mark the beginning of a new global worship service on Mondays during Chapel break, featuring music sung in Swahili, Arabic and Spanish as well as in English.

The service was compiled by the Chapel’s Morning Prayer staff prior to Christmas break.

The Christian church is growing with great rapidity in the southern hemisphere and the Pacific Rim. We have the opportunity to connect with other Christians in prayer and song and to learn from them and their expressions of faith. This new prayer service seeks to build on that opportunity. As we pray and sing we also commit to becoming better informed about these churches and how we can live together as the body of Christ through mutual work.

Each Monday we will focus on a regional church and their current situation. Opportunities for more information and increased communication will be available. Please join us 11:15 to 11:35 a.m. for Morning Prayer.
