The Gospel Choir of Valparaiso University will present a black history praise service Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Union, in ballroom A. All are welcome to attend.
Gospel choir has existed for over 12 years on campus and is open to the entire campus community. The choir provides students a practical experience in mixed voice singing of accompanied and unaccompanied vocal gospel music. Brytish Thomas, who directs the choir, says Gospel Choir is “more than a class; it is a worship ministry where believers gather to give of their time and talents and receive God’s blessings.”
Gospel Choir is open to new voices and it's not too late to join in. Questions? Please email the Gospel Choir director, brytt.thomas@valpo.edu.
