- Interfaith Youth Core comes to campus
- A group that works to build mutual respect and pluralism among young people from different religious traditions by empowering them to work together to serve others will offer a workshop on campus Monday, Feb. 14th. Students are invited from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Union Hearth Room to learn more about the Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC).
An interfaith leader casts a vision that sees the world in terms of cooperation rather than conflict and can mobilize and inspire others around that vision. This 60 minute training session is designed to introduce students to IFYC’s vision for interfaith student leadership. Students will learn a framework that empowers them to speak out about the power of interfaith social action, mobilize their peers for interfaith social action, and sustain the interfaith movement on their campus. Students will also be introduced to Better Together, an international campaign encouraging students to prove the power of interfaith cooperation by tackling a social issue that matters to their campus.
