A committee of students, faculty, and staff has begun a search for a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America who would join the Chapel staff  next summer.  Pastor Phyllis Kersten presently serves in this position on an interim basis.

   
Vice President for Student Affairs Bonnie Hunter chairs the committee, which also includes students Joshua Buzbee and Krista Schaefer, Pastor Kersten, and faculty and staff members Dorothy Bass, Matthew Becker, Eric Johnson, Diane Marten, Fred Niedner, and Beth Olejniczak. 

The committee asks for the community’s prayers for this process and for all who may be considering whether God is calling them to this position.  Dr. Hunter and other committee members welcome nominations and questions.  Women are especially encouraged to apply.  The committee hopes to bring finalists to campus after spring break and will be sure to provide opportunities for members of the campus community to meet with them.
