A special 50th Anniversary Worship Service is set for Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. for members of the campus community, alumni and the public, with special music by Kantorei, Chorale, an alumni choir, the chamber concert band and handbell choir. Rev. Daniel Brockopp, University Pastor Emeritus, will preside; and former University Associate Pastor Rev. David Kehret will preach.

The worship service will be followed by a dedication encore of the Reddel Memorial Organ at 3 p.m. and a vespers services featuring the music of J.S. Bach at 5 p.m.

Other events connected to the 50th coming up this week are:

• A Sept. 24 lecture by Dr. Gretchen Buggeln, “The Shape of a New Era: Valparaiso’s Chapel of the Resurrection in Historical Context,” 6:30 p.m., Union
