STUDENT VOLUNTEER DAY AT VIC IS MARCH 21: If you didn’t go on a mission trip over spring break but have heard from others how incredible an experience it was, you have opportunities to do some good works right here in this community!

There are two up-and-coming work blitz days at the Valparaiso International Center (VIC), 309 Lincolnway. The first is the student volunteer day Saturday, March 21st, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will be working on the VIC bathroom and doing some painting. We are counting on rock stars like you to be there, so please try to make it out. Even if you can only give an hour or two of your time, it would be awesome to have you there.

Can’t make it to workday #1? No worries, the community work blitz is on Saturday, April 4th, same time (9-4), same place (the VIC).

Also, stay tuned for more updates on some sweet programs at the VIC, including a community discussion of A Long Way Gone (in coordination with “Valpo Reads a Book”), led by Prof. Chuck Schaefer in early April.
