Students volunteers needed at re-sale shop

Volunteers of all ages are needed at Nifty Thrifty Resale, 50 Marks Rd., Valparaiso, Ind., a thrift store owned and operated by Bethesda Lutheran Communities, a leading provider of supports and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Cashiers, sorters and general retail positions are available. Other volunteer opportunities include light carpentry, building maintenance and general cleaning tasks. Volunteers can select from daily, weekly or monthly time commitments. Store hours are: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bethesda, headquartered in Watertown, owns and operates 19 shops throughout the United States. All proceeds support people served by Bethesda.

Store merchandise includes a wide selection of clothing, household goods, new and used furniture, books, linens, jewelry, electrical items, antiques and collectables.
