- Bowls for the hungry
The Valparaiso University Art Department has created unique bowls to be auctioned to the Valparaiso University community March 25th, from 4 to 6 p.m. The money collected will be donated to international relief. The bowls range from the fantastic to the sublime; some of the artwork will be drawings, paintings and photography that simply refer to bowls.
In addition, between bids, you can try your hand at throwing a bowl on the potter’s wheel and enjoy a free bowl of soup and cornbread. This premier event will be held at the Art/Psychology building in Room 17 (west of the parking lot south of the ARC).
Donations are tax-exempt. If you pay by check, Valparaiso University will issue you an acknowledgement. For further information e-mail Michele.Corazzo@valpo.edu.
