Choir Sings for Installation

The Kantorei of the Chapel of the Resurrection will sing as part of the installation of the Reverend Dr. William O. Gafkjen as the third bishop of the Indiana-Kentucky Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America at a service on Saturday, Sept. 11. Dr. Lorraine Brugh, director of Chapel Music and University Organist, who directs the Kantorei, also will serve as organist for the service, to be held at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 100 West 86th Street, Indianapolis. The choir will sing “Global Alleluias” for choir and percussion as part of the service's gathering music, “Clouds of Witnesses” by Robert Hobby and “Have Mercy, Hear Our Confession,” a traditional Chilean song.
