- Remembering American troops at Christmas
During Thursday Morning Prayer on Nov. 29th, as students, faculty and staff pray for the needs of the world, the service will also be a time to remember those who have given their lives in service to our country, as well as those who continue to serve in harm's way through our nation's armed forces.
Richard Schraeger III, a freshman in the Air Force ROTC program at Valpo, is spearheading the project. There also will be a free will offering for the "Adopt a Hero" project, to purchase basic supplies to send overseas to troops in time for Christmas. Items to be bought include things like foot powder, deodorant, snacks, small games and puzzles, etc. For more information, please email richard.schraeger@valpo.edu.
